T. Richmond & Son's shop was known as 'The Cooperage' and was at 4, Boar Lane. The proprietor, Mr Raymond Leigh Richmond (sans cap) is seen outside. Richmond's sold a wide variety of goods including straw bee-hives, washing machines, mangles and wringers, hair and wire sieves, corn and chaff sieves, malt shovels and butchers trays. They also smoked hams to order.
