Picture taken from the Newark Advertiser, 15th March 1969. The article accompanying the picture tells about the new lorry's final checks before it made its first trip to Paris, into the new Common Market territory. The company had established a subsidiary sales company in France and were stocking it with goods from the Newark and Annfield Plain factories. Other subsidiary companies abroad already included those in: Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa and Zambia.
