The bus pictured has Gash's fleet number DD14. It was a Leyland Atlantean bus with bodywork by Park Royal and had 75 seats, registration number WBN968L (Bolton) issued in 1972. The bus was purchased second hand in 1986, one of 6 acquired from Greater Manchester Public Transport. Here it is shown displaying the new, post 1986 livery parked 'out of service' at the Lombard Street bus station in Newark.
