The bus pictured has Gash's fleet number DD11. It was a Leyland Atlantean bus with bodywork by Charles Roe of Leeds and had 77 seats. The bus was purchased new in August 1979, the first new double-decker added to the fleet for 25 years. Here it is shown entering the Lombard Street bus station in Newark.
