The bus pictured has Gash's fleet number L10. It was a Leyland Leopard bus with Plaxton 51 seat bodywork. The bus was purchased new in December 1973 and was converted to 53 seats around 1977-78, along with five other similar buses in the fleet. Note the difficult turn-out from the bus station for long single deckers.
