The workshop was built at the top of the garden at the rear of Harrison's premises on Cartergate. Access to it was via the short lane which ran between no's. 21 and 23 London Road. Vehicles include a Campion Motorcycle 2hp reg no. AL149, registered to John William White Jan 1st 1904, a Campion Motorcycle 2hp reg no. AL137, registered to Herbert Conolly Jan 1st 1904, a Bentinck 2hp unregistered 1905, a Bentinck Motorcycle 2.5hp reg no. AL279, registered to William Charles Peacock, Greatford Hall, Stamford, Lincs. Dec 31st 1903, a Bentinck Motorcycle 2hp reg no. AL128, registered to Frederick James Brown Dec 31st 1903 There is an unidentified forecar reg. D09, 1903. Another unidentified forecar stands at the rear as well as a light motorcar, unregistered, 1905 and a Peugeot 8hp reg AL39, 1902/3 registered to George William Hart Dec 11th 1903. Also of note is the stack of wooden boxes which contained 2 gallon cans of petrol. These were introduced by Pratt and Co c 1898 and provided the principle means of distributing, storing and selling petrol, until roadside petrol pumps came into general use in the 1920's. (prior to this fuel was often obtained from chemists shops)
