This is a view looking North West from St Margarets churchyard. The house dates from the 17th Century. The farm was occupied by Mr Bert Godfrey and his family for many years. You could buy a bale of straw for 6d. He had a very large boar pig there that had a fearsome reputation, hence the very thick door to keep it in.
