Farndon Lodge is an imposing 19th century house situated at the junction of Wyke Lane and Church Street. This picture is taken looking north from West End. Farndon Lodge was formerly the home of the Huskinson family, and a temporary first residence of Lewis Ransome and his wife, the former 'Savoyard', Jessie Bond when they came to live in Farndon in 1900 (See NCCE000985 and 986).
