A coach belonging to W Gash and Sons Ltd of Bowbridge Road, Newark. This Bedford SBG coach (36 seater) was purchased new by Gash's in March 1955. It was not withdrawn from service until November 1968. The photograph was taken at Gash's Garage and workshops, Bowbridge Road. The new garage was completed in May 1953, and opened on the 26th by Mr W Fletcher, Chairman of the East Midland Traffic Commissioners.
