The access to this road was blocked as a result of a You Tube channel featuring drivers going through the ford at different times and water levels. The channel attracted a global following which brought large numbers of vehicles and people into the area above the normal usuage levels and was deemed, by Nottinghamshire County Council, to be a safety risk.
