St Peters in the Rushes was Rempstone's church up the 1770s. Due to its remoteness it was decided to build a church 0.75 miles nearer the village. The present church, All Saints, was built mainly from the materials of the old church and was opened by the Archbishop of York in 1773.See also NCCV000127 for view taken in 1901.
