Rear of building backs onto main road. Rainpipes dated 1865. Sir Francis Ley, Derby iron industrialist, lived here. In 1955 this building was used as The Nottinghamshire Police Headquarters, transferring there from Nottingham Shire Hall, then became a Police training centre, and has now been sold for development.
