The disused chapel of ease in a field at the north end of Old Chapel Lane. The building is in a dangerous state, hence the barbed wire and securely padlocked gates to keep out would-be visitors. It is seen here from the north east. Located in a field towards Stoke Field (site of last battle in The Wars of the Roses), Elston Chapel exhibits Norman masonry and 14th century windows.
