Inside the Carnarvon Room

The Carnarvon room in Burton Joyce was the original single room school opened in the village in around 1861. It has gone through many changes until 2000 when it was refurbished by an association of the Parish and Burton Joyce and Bulcote Local History Society to be used by many local organisations. In the photo it is arranged to host the Village Lunch held every month in the Carnarvon Room until 2020
