Pictured are three of the children of the Rev. John Standish, vicar of Scarrington, Notts., for 33 years from 1885 until his death on 30 June 1918. He married Mary Ruth Norton on 27 November 1879 and had 12 children, 6 boys and 6 girls. Left to right they are:- John Selwyn Standish - 13.9.1886-29.2.1956; Ruth Standish - 29.3.1885-6.8.1942; Dorothy Standish - 23.12.1887-12.7.1973.
