Berry Hill Hall, Mansfield, c 1927

Berry Hill Lane
Mansfield
England

Showing the west facade of the hall; the coach-house (with clock tower) and the stables can be seen to the left of the main block. Pevsner describes the mansion as being 'a plain, early 19th century building', though it dates to around 1730s when when it was built for William Bilbie of Nottingham (see http://mansfieldberryhill.co.uk/berryhill1.aspx for further information on the history of the hall). The hall later served as the Miner's Rehabilitation and Convalescence Centre and has now been converted into residential apartments.
