Giltbrook House
Giltbrook
England
The marriage was at Eastwood rather than the family church at Greasley (repairs were being carried out at Greasley Church). This picture is presumably taken in the garden of the Manners home at Giltbrook. On the back of the picture is a menu of the wedding feast:- Roast beef, tongue, turkey, roast chickens, boiled chickens, pigeon pie, veal and ham pie, trifle, tipsey cake, jellies, creams, pastry, dessert and wines (not much joy for vegetarians there then !).
