This building (built around 1780) was formerly the home of Sir John Turney, founder of Turney Bros. leather works, at Trent Bridge, and twice Mayor of Nottingham. It was at this time headquarters of Nottinghamshire County Council Educational Resources Department. On the left are the former servants quarters and house-keeper's residence.
