My Great Grandfather Edwin Hawker bought this land including the building here in the 1930s. He then oppended 'Hawker and Sons; Garage which remained there until our family sold the land, business and house in the early 70s.He also purchased land opposite and built the first house called 'Hurley House' after my G.Grandmother Eliza.
