Mrs Ann Sissons, aged 101 years, flew with H Sykes, July 18th 1920. This happened on the visit of Alan Cobham's Flying Circus to Mansfield. It was her 101st birthday.The planes flew from a field on Derby Rd, crossed Cauldwell Rd and went part way to Kirkby. The cost was 5shillings per flight.
