The Cantamus Girl's Choir was founded in 1968 by Pamela Cook. The choir gave many performances this year. 'The best girls' choir in the world' - this seems a daunting thing to assert. One's doubts were soon dispelled, however - the singing of Cantamus was truly magnificent' the Whitby Post wrote.
