Bentinck Primary opened in 1880 as Alfreton Road School for Juniors. An additional Infants department followed nearby eight years later but this closed after only three years. The Senior Boys section closed in 1931 and in 1945 the Senior Girls became a separate secondary school. This view shows the A'Court Street Annexe and is looking north-west.
