Although this is titled as being High Road, this is now part of Chilwell Road and has been demolished. Website contributor Derek Cox States the following: "This was never called High Road, its location was always recognised as being in 'The Square' which separated Beeston High Road from Chilwell Road which started at the old council offices. The square was the original location of the statue of Queen Victoria which stood outside the old council offices."
