This was taken on the morning of the first Cropwell Bishop 10-mile run. The display of furniture is by Barrett and Swan of Cropwell Butler who were sponsors of the event. The Hall was headquarters for the race. There were almost 300 runners. On the table are arrow signs waiting to be collected by race marshals. Tony Jarrow was the Race Director.
