Looking along Pinfold Lane from Nottingham Road, showing Wesley Place Methodist Chapel (which still exists and was apparently so named because one of the Wesleys preached on that spot) on the right, and a large factory further down the hill which was the original factory of the Carr Fastener Company. Compare this picture with NCCS000246 which shows the similar view c 1900's. The shop on the right was known locally as 'Gicky-Jint's'.
