A group photograph showing employees of the basket weaving factory in East Leake. One factory was situated at the rear of what are now shops (formerly houses) on the west side of Gotham Road. The baskets held by the boys in the front row were designed to take shells from the Chilwell Shell-filling Factory to troops on the Western Front during World War 1.
