Seen from the SW. The road was once the main road between Nottingham and Grantham (the A52), but this has now been bypassed by the new A52 trunk road. Note the exposed wooden lattes under the rendering in the panels between the timber frame. Also the interesting herringbone brickwork and chimneys, and stone footings
