Scrooby
England

Located next to St Wilfrid's Church the timber-framed old vicarage in Scrooby was originally built around 1590 and was where the separatists met from around 1605. Scrooby holds a pivotal place in the history of the USA, being the birthplace of William Brewster (1566-1643), elder of the Pilgrim settlers. In 1588 William Brewster Senior held the office of Bailiff of the Archbishop of York.
