Rebuilt ex-North Eastern Railway Class B16 number 61448 on Retford Thrumpton engine shed. Thrumpton was the ex-Great Central Railway loco depot at Retford and stood on the south of the line to the east of Thrumpton Lane. No 61448 was constructed in 1923 and scrapped in 1964. This view was taken from the coaling stage and is looking north - the locomotive in the background is standing on the depot's turntable. Thrumpton shed was closed in 1965.
