Looking south showing demolition of the bridge that carried the ex-Midland Railway branch from Mansfield to Southwell. This line was opened in 1871 and closed in 1983, although latterly it only extended from Mansfield South Junction to Rufford Colliery. In this view a Scott Greenham crane is lifting out the north side girder. Scaffolding supports the decking, which will probably be removed next, followed by the south side girder.
