Opened in 1904, the Carnegie Library was used as Mansfield's public library until 1976, when new premises were opened in the Four Seasons Shopping Centre on West Gate. This view, apparently taken from the (no longer standing) tower of the Baily Museum, shows new extensions added to the rear of the Library in 1932.
