Mansfield Central Library was opened in 1977 and refurbished in 2011. This view shows 1980s computing technology with the launch of Training Access Points (TAPs), an early form of public access computers. A member of the public is seen here being instructed on how to access training and leisure courses. By 2015 there were over 60 public PCs and Wi-Fi available within Mansfield Library.
