Interior view of the disused goods warehouse at Newark Castle station, taken from the loading platform on the ground floor with the railway siding to the right and an office cabin in the left distance. Looking south-west. In 1846 the Midland Railway's Nottingham-Lincoln line was the first railway to reach Newark, although this building was erected later.
