Bedford SBG Bus with bodywork by Yeates. Acquired by Gash in March 1955. Fleet number was B14. When withdrawn from use in November 1968 the coach was sold to the League of Friends of Newark Hospital (for non psv use). The diesel engine was added to the Bedford range in the mid-1950s and shortly afterwards, two examples of the new SBG type were taken into stock. This photograph shows B14 (RVO 845) and the somewhat flamboyantly styled Yeates Riviera 36 seat coachwork. The fleetname was reduced to a roundel bearing the companys initials'. (P Yeomans)
