The C of E school at the north end of main street, seen here from the north west. In the foreground us the caretakers residence, formerly the schoolmasters house. There is no date stone, but i was informed that it was built in the 1870s, and replaced the National School on Toad Lane. The belcote can be seen in detail in the photo. The school has been modernized and extended in recent years.
