Elevated view northwards from the by then disused (and subsequently demolished) railway bridge spanning Mansfield Road with Daybrook Square in the middle distance. Beyond this is I & R Morley's hosiery factory, then the tower of the Home Brewery and in the distance St Paul's Church. Station Road in the left foreground led to the closed Daybrook railway station. The nose to tail traffic includes a Nottingham City Transport motor bus on service 20 for Arnold and a Home Ales lorry.
