The Entrance or West Front looking east. The original title to this engraving reads 'Bestwood Lodge, Near Nottingham, The Seat of the Duke of St Albans, Visited by the Prince and Princess of Wales'. The Royal visit by the future King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra to Nottingham included the opening of the Castle Museum.
