This is a photo of a residential dwelling siturated on Slaughterhouse Lane, Newark. The Property was between the slaughter house on its left and the Job Centre and Driving Test building on the right. The property was used as a small holding for pigs, it housed a copper used for holding swill for the pigs, this was collected locally from Newark residents and the pigs sold to a local butcher. The property was compulsory purchased around 1988 to make way for Morrisons supermarket.
