The embossed coat of arms of Notts County Council in the stonework of the parapet of the bridge carrying the A6097 (links the Fosse, A46 at Bingham with the A614 at Leapool) over the River Trent. There is one in the parapet abutment at each corner of the bridge, this one is at the SE corner. This coat of arms became obsolete in 1974.
